Possibly...

Hold on to possibility
Release and release and release again
Until all that we have
has been
transformed into all that we need
Until all that we need becomes all that we have
Plant the seeds of future growth
In the fertile soil of today’s preparation
Be here now
Now be here
Be
Here
Now
Until now is then
Until then is held in the palm of the hands of now
Until all that there is
Is present
Choosing the path that is going the direction travelled
And going the direction the path is travelling
Possibility is the seed of all that is
The seed that encodes the very growth of my future
That holds the heartache
The laughter
The jubilance
The terror
The entire essence of my being
The cusp of the pass
The turning points of good and bad choices
The culmination of
Ecstatic weeping
Desperate rejoicing
And angels dancing on heads of pins
Until there is nothing more to do than gather the fruit of who I am
Harvest the propagations of expectations
That have combined into an amassed silo of Be-ing
To sift through and discover the seeds of possibility
To sow into the future path of forever

I am

I am light, beauty, tranquility, truth.
BUT…

I am also darkness, ugliness, turmoil, deceit.
BUT…

I am growth, joy, comfort, life.
                                BUT…

I am also decay, sorrow, pain, death.
                                And…
I am anger, fear, sobbing, doubt.
                                BUT…

I am also delight, courage, laughter, hope.

I am all that is good, all that is evil,
all that builds up, all that destroys.

I stand at the center of paradox,
                                Every day.

I choose one or the other,
                                                Every moment.

                I contemplate hurt or healing,
                                                                Every breath.

Who I am.

Who I was.

Who I will be.

I am hatred, disgust, scorn, envy, and revenge.
AND…
I am love, sympathy, delight, pleasure, and forgiveness.

I am everything and nothing, the beginning and the end.

I am the seed of endless possibility,
awaiting the spring rains and warming sun.

Autumn

Seeds planted in the Spring
sleep beneath a blanket of Earth
dreaming of coming bounty

Slowly they waken
stretching their arms to the Sun
releasing their potential to the World

Goddess Crone cradles the crops in her arms
Holding them in preparation for the goodness of the harvest

Days shorten and Summer wanes
Her hair becomes unkempt
She opens her arms in eternal Embrace
Loosening the fields to ripen to golden beauty
The orchards to grow to fruition

She unbinds her hair
Relinquishes her hold on previously unseen hues
Filling fields with crimson-gold, carnelian and scarlet
Until it's time to gather her bounty into our larders
Giving thanks for the goodness
And holding vigil in our lairs through the Dark of Winter

Dark of Winter

I watched the snow fall down today,
Blow across the fields of grey,
Block the sun from shining in the sky.
It's the dark of winter.

I dreamed a dream of spring today,
Snowy fields had gone away,
Bright blue skies, flowers and butterflies.
But it's still the dark of winter.

We all walk this Spiral Dance.
We all harvest what we plant.
Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter-rest.
Spring comes around, and we start again.

I dreamed a dream of summertime,
When temperatures start to climb,
Without a single cloud in the sky.
That's when I'll dream of winter.

Beltaine: Crossing Worlds in Flagstaff
By: GinaMarie

She whirls like
waterfalls and sunny glades
filled with shade.

She is a kiss of spring
in the midst of frozen winter,
a hint of laughter,
a whisper of secret passion.

Her very being is a caress that coerces excitement into existence.

Stripping off the old garments
of hibernation and winter slumber,
she entices me to slip into
a gauzy breath of summer wispyness.

All the while, glorying in the promise of
sweet trinkets of cold winter
to cool the summer heat that fills my soul.
